CalebFortner Report post Posted March 25, 2011 Not sure if anyone else has heard anything like this yet, but I spoke to a G&F rep yesterday who told me Elk Draw results will be out the first week of April. I heard from another source that the delay in the results had something to do with the land closure in 19b on the Antelope hunts. Who knows. This is my first year putting in for Elk so I am excited to hear back soon! I probably didnt get an antelope tag anyway, do you think they will just tell us the elk results and tell us the antelope results when they get it all straightened out? just kidding! In AZ last year, there were 19,470 applicants for 945 antelope permits, and 79,041 applicants for 25,895 elk permits. Only 1in20 will be hunting antelope and 1in3 hunting elk.
