Siwash Report post Posted March 8, 2011 Yea, it was cheap to begin with and my rifle kicked through the rear strap pretty quick too. It is actually more solid now than when I bought it. But I prefer to shoot off a bench from bags as it is a more similar to a rest I can build in the field. This would still make a great shooting aid for somebody, especially someone who takes kids to the range. I have that same rest... You wanna talk about a poorly designed/constructed rest!
