Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted March 16, 2011 Awesome finds! Congrats on the other side of that set! How far was the white side from where you picked up the brown side? I once found a white side a mile away and 3 yrs later! Only reason I knew for sure was I had liked the big kicker and hung it on the wall in my house... I thought that was amazing luck! Congrats again and good luck on the browns. Here is a pic of my 3 yr set.

Ok guys i'll try to pose up a big old cheesy grin next time. I don't think the sheds were from the same buck just because they were about 3 miles apart. Never know for sure I guess. I actually found the pair to last years shed only about 40 yards from where the other one was. It was laying right in plain sight which was the interesting part. I gave it good effort last year to find the pair but maybe I looked to hard or was blind that day. Or maybe a critter drug it down a hill for all I know?. Packer Report post Posted March 17, 2011 Congratulations on the finds. I am going to have to get out soon before everyone beats me to my places. I have just been waiting for the smaller ones to drop too so that I can get more bang for my buck. Aaron

I knew what i had when I found it... I thought it was off a 4 yr old shed I also had in my house, but when I got it home I realized it was from the 3 yr old shed.... it was in some very thick NE facing stuff where it go little sun but lots of moisture... it was kinda greanish..LOL. Amazing you found it only 40 yds away one year later! Maybe he left it the next day? Good Hunting! I'm off fo the next few days to find some treasures! I have decided that I really don't want to know how many antlers I have walked passed. I was sitting down to eat some lunch one day, waiting for my son to come join me and he picked up a nice elk shed not 10 yards from where I was sitting......tall bear grass is what I blamed it on. Nice finds both you guys, that is unique to find the matching partner after the fact.....
