Brian27 Report post Posted March 8, 2011 We are heading out to go shed hunting the weekend of March 18th. Does anyone know if there is snow on Anderson’s mesa east of Flagstaff? I would like to go up there but if there is snow we may go a little lower in elevation. Pics will come after we find some.

Brian27 Report post Posted March 15, 2011 Roads are closed, for now. I looked it up on the forest service web site and they sure are. Thanks for saving me gas. I will have to go somewhere else.
Brian27 Report post Posted March 23, 2011 12 miles or more on our boots and we only found this one nice shed less than 100 yards from camp right after we got there. Only this one shed between 3 of us and we spread out depending on how open or thick the area was. not even any old chalk. we were between showlow and greer at about 7800 ft. Anyone know what we are doing wrong? We were really excited but this trip was a little disapointing for us. Any pointers to get our hopes back up for next weekend or the weekend after? Bighorns Report post Posted March 25, 2011 Hope the closed roads open up again soon. Ahh to put 12 miles on the boots, that would be fun, horns or no horns.
