Please post below in One Phrase, why you voted the way you did. Or you can choose to vote and not say... Lets NOT on debate on this thread. We should just lay our best reason on the line and vote. It will be interesting how many different reasons we can show for and against. Please remember that we are all hunters and we all have passion for our sport, keep it clean and to the point... ONE PHRASE! ;)

Why should they ban it? I say leave things just the way they are.

I see no issue with it, why make more rules when they don't enforce the ones we have.

I know of a young man, who happened to be a quadraplegic, that was able to harvest a cow elk. The smile on the young man's face is one that I will never forget. There was a lot of work put into getting this young man an elk, and I know if this were a rule the young man may never have experienced this. That's why I voted the way I did! Sorry that's more than one phrase...

Plus 1 ;)

I am against any new law that is given without true facts stating an impact. All "assumed" numbers of actual harvest of how they were taken." based on a 20% allocation of rifle tag success, when they use a return survey card that is about 40% return rate of successful hunters."

Without making all big game mandatory harvest reporting, we are only guessing what the true harvest numbers are.

I agree. Also no need for more laws that won't be able to be enforced. Less regulation can sometimes be a good thing.

If it were really a problem of killing too many bucks, why are they continuing to issuing 1,500 rifle deer tags in the unit that receives a lot of baiting pressure.

Once you give them an inch, they will try and take a mile.

+1. They will never be happy with a Inch. Inch by Inch they will try to take away the freedoms we enjoy.

I haven't done any baiting ...yet....but am not opposed to it. I cannot fathom much if any negative impact, and I don't see it as any different then the multitude of other things we do to put the odds in our favor. If it is about harvest numbers then set a limit on the harvest objective???
