Recommended Posts

I purchased some recently and I am real happy with them. They are really clear.

My dad recently purchased those and one of the Vortex Viper 20-60x80 spotting scopes. We went out shooting a couple weeks ago and they were awesome. Great optics and very clear. Now I just have to talk him into 'upgrading' here in a year so I can ask for an early inheritance!

I looked through both the Swaro's and the Kaibab's at the same time. The Swaro's let in a little more light but not enough to justify the difference in price. The view was pretty much as clear as the Swaro's. I see the Kaibab's on Craig's list.com all the time for reasonable prices. I would purchase the Kaibab's but need to justify with the wife the need for another set of binos.

I purchased my Kaibab 15 x 56's in January and really put them to the test in February for a full week of glassing. I am completely satisfied with them. My regular carry binocs are Zeiss 10 x 40s. The Kaibabs are every bit as bright and clear. The Zeiss may be a little sharper at the edge of the field. You cannot go wrong with the Kaibab's. Recommend the Slik Pro 330 DX tripod to put under your Kaibab's. Also do your eyes a favor and purchase a pair of the binocular eye shields that Amanda offers in the CWT Store.

I too looked at Kaibab's and Swaro's at the same time and while the Kaibab's are not Swaro's, they are the next best thing. My regular 10x bino's are Leica's I could justify the extra money on them but I could not justify double the $$ to go to the Swaro's over the Kaibab's. I purchased a pair of the Kaibab's and have not had a spec of remorse over the purchase. Would do it again if the situation presented itself.
