Please dont shoot anything out from under me. LOL. Seeing how I cant seem to draw a rifle tag. ..LOL.. oh well I will be watching for all of you with the fire sticks. Untill then I guess I'll keep loosing sleep and thinking about the big ones I have seen scouting. Good luck to every one else hunting, I hope get a MONTER. sophie Report post Posted December 12, 2005 My cousin Max and I will be in 36b for the 12/16 hunt. It appeals to us to camp with others for safety. We are planning to camp somewhere off of Ruby Rd. in the vicinity of the ridge rd. and will welcome others to camp with us, or if we are welcomed to an established camp thats good too. elkhunter Report post Posted December 13, 2005 I got the dec 35A tag, had this tag 2 years ago and my dad had this tag a year ago....3 consecutive years of my pop and I drawing this tag with either 1 or 2 bonus points! couesdiehard Report post Posted December 13, 2005 I will be taking the wife to unit 31 for her rifle hunt Friday to Monday. Have been scouting there several times and I am a little concerned that I haven't seen any shooter bucks yet, but to be honest I haven't glassed and walked as much as I would have liked. This is the first time we have ever hunted the unit and it is so big that I have spent most of my time learning the country. I would appreciate it if any of you Safford guys could clue me in to what kind of terrain I should start out hunting. Are the bucks up high, in the oaks, in the lower desert stuff? Not looking for anybody's secret spots, just an idea of where to start. I have heard from some locals that they have seen some signs of rutting activity.
