azhuntnut Report post Posted February 25, 2011 For the last three and a half years I have wanted to get a .243wssm upper for my AR from a company called Dedicated Technologies, but there is a 14 month backorder on his uppers. Finally a couple weeks ago I found a guy selling one here in AZ and jumped on it. The entire gun weighs ten pounds with the scope and will shoot a 55 grain 6mm bullet at over 4000fps. I worked up some loads this past Sunday using 87 grain vmax bullets with a bullet coefficient of .400 and some RL17. My book shows this round to be right around 3200 fps.
