BML Report post Posted February 23, 2011 I've seen a lot of lion mounts that were butchered but you nailed this one! Very good work. I love the "snow" touch. Incredible. Good job!
CouesBuckhunter Report post Posted February 24, 2011 the lion mount is a very hard mount to get right or even perfect, espesially in the facial features. in this mount you perfected it and the base made it even more outstanding
CouesBuckhunter Report post Posted February 24, 2011 looking at it again i took in another couple details. when the lions body is angled down with the head up there are wrinkles on the top of the head, which youve shown. And in the position the cat is looking up with his eyes(towards where the viewer would be) the pupils would be at the top instead of middle, so you have the eyelids come down over the top part of the eye, which youve executed. Very good job, nice way paying attention to the small details.
