I'm out in Peoria, Il with family and having a great time. Hope all of you are with family and remembering today is a day to give thanks for what we here in the states have. For those of you who have family working to keep what we have I say thanks to you and them.

I also hope everyone has a great day, and we are all thankful for the things we take for granted. Service men and women are high on my list.

I am especially happy it is only 3 weeks til I head to my late hunt! :)

I'm with you 25-06! Turkey feast on Thursday, and bird hunting on Friday. A family tradition... How was that smoked turkey Amanda? We did one in the oven (traditional), and one in the deep fryer. Good stuff!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

My turkey was wonderful. My husband made a glaze to put on it that included prickly pear fruit juice, and chipotle pepper sauce and a few other things. It was very nice. And I made a soup of the left overs last night and it's really good that way too. That glaze makes the soup have a real complex flavor in addition to the smoked turkey.

Never did one in the deep fryer, but I hear they are great. did you like it Stanley?

Thank you, and haappy thanksgiving to all of you as well.

Mine was wonderful, Turkey and ham with friends, went scouting my area with my 12 year old, then shooting with my wife, and finally to Sportsmans Warehouse for more brass and powder.

I can't wait for the Cabela's to be built!

Just 2 and a half more weeks till December 16th!
