COUESAZ Report post Posted November 23, 2005 Here is my brothers bull From unit 27. we got on at 8:00am on the second day and it took us 9 hours to get him back to the truck. There was three of us. My brother, My self and our Good friend Heath. I will have in field photos after our other camera gets back from our last hunhter that we hope scores today gets back in town. Lark will be able to guess the spot very easy when He sees the in field photos. We saw 8 Bulls and one freaking Monster that would rank very high in the books if not top The books. He was over four miles out in some of Arizonas Roughest Elk country with no roads arond closer than the one we had left behind at the time we saw this monster. We came across three bulls while deciding the best route for the monster. We will be keeping an eye on him for the rut next year. This bull was surounded by hunters. There was an outfitter and client with in one mile of him and headed in the wrong direction.

COUESAZ Report post Posted November 24, 2005 he scored 326 without deductions. He is dang near perfect though. I would say he may have a few inches taken away.double devils as well and they are nice and polished up. His body was huge. The shot was 460 yards. He hit the Bull 3 times and it just stood there. Then a final shot to the neck put him down.

COUESAZ Report post Posted November 24, 2005 The game and fish said he was the second biggest they had seen. It was only the second morning of the hunt though. We got to set and wach them bucher it up and take out the limph nodes and some other stuff to test it for cwd. They did ask if we were mounting it first and when we said nope they jumped for joy to cut on it. They showed us how to age a Bull as well and were two very nice guys from down yuma way. They had been sent up to do the testing. Just wait tell I post the field Photos and you see how Big this 5 year old Bull was.

elkmaniac Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Congrats on a movie star looking bull. Very symetrical. My dad and his partner had four hunters this year and one of the guys killed a 393 gross bull on the same hunt. Not sure where the toad was you saw but when I can get a couple pictures posted of our client's bull you can see if it is the same one that you saw or not. When you say miles from the nearest road, that's right where we're at. In 27 you can sure as heck get away from people if you want to. Again, congrats on a solid bull.
