Arizona Griz Report post Posted February 9, 2011 The sad part about his whole thing was a movement was started and it has nowhere to go but down hill. When it's all over and done a few years from now you all will have wished you left well enough alone. I don't have an answer to the 22% of tags going to NR but this will not fix anything. Wait till you guys try messing with the landowner tags. Thank goodness Arizona doesn't have all of the private land NM has. Good luck, you will all need it. Yeah it might be tough and no fun but something has to change... 22% is too much... and i agree LO tags are going to be a mess... But the way the LO system is written the Dept could only issue 1 tag for the landowner.. it doesn't have to be a super high number...

If that did happen, and you and I both know it will not, then the ranches will all be locked up. Some of them depend upon that income to keep their ranches operational. I personally know of two, one elk and the other antelope, that put this tag money back into their operations. It is one big mess and many will be hurt by it.
