jonesface Report post Posted February 8, 2011 I used this call back in the day before I bought a REAL electronic caller. I called in 1 coyote with it. It is nice to get the sound away from you but there isn't much of a selection of sounds. I would get some good mouth calls to get the volume out and then maybe try this as a coaxer. When you turn this up load it sounds very distorted. (Heavy Metal) If you're in thick country it might work OK. My 2cents.
makaio333 Report post Posted March 17, 2011 I know this thread is kind of old and do appreciate the feedback. i ended up getting the attractor II on sale for a really good price as i am making a slow transition into ecalls. the first stand my wife and i were on we called in 3 coyotes! took a shot and shot high.... needless to say that was only one experience with it. i will say that it's a great unit for someone trying to get into electric calls. i does lack range as far as sound and so i will be attaching a megaphone to the unit and see how that pans out. i will let you guys know how it goes. I rolled like that for a while. bought an external speaker from sportsman's warehouse called lots of yotes in this way.... the only thing I didn't like was you can't control the volume with remote with or without the external speaker, so a lot of times I would roll out the wire on the speaker and just hold the whole unit. I have a preymaster set up for sale $70 with extra external speaker and 6 cards I believe..... not wireless but gets it done. james
