db cooper Report post Posted January 25, 2011 I have four acres bordering Laveen with predators galore. Last Friday after dark, my daughter and I called in a bobcat and 3 coyotes. Cooler than heck, watching them come in through my cheapie night vision scope. I need one of those Dragonslayer .50 cal airguns!
rclouse79 Report post Posted January 25, 2011 I have not done any predator hunting, although trying to call in the javalina that live in the wash behind my house is on my to do list. I just don't want to end up being the dumb a$$ that ends up in the newspaper after they attack and send me to the emergency room.

AntlerObsession Report post Posted January 27, 2011 Archery only That's so true ... ... Its not my backyard, but I have a family of foxen living a short drive away that I take roosters, meatloaves or other undesirable meat products. I then call them in with my 4 year old and watch them come in like clockwork. My boy would rather feed the foxen then any of our actual pets.
catclaw Report post Posted January 30, 2011 My buddy had his full camo on and a Circe call hanging off his neck when we stopped at the credit union on the way home one day. The poor teller asked him what was hanging off his neck and he proceeded to blow a full series of rabbit distress sounds. The teller cried and we were kindly asked to leave the bank! I was totally dumbfounded when he did it! I guess that qualifies as "urban". As for shooting stuff in town, you can't even archery hunt inside city limits unless you have permission from police chief. So pretty much NO.
