DesertBull Report post Posted November 18, 2005 A man in Montana drew a highly sought after buffalo tag. The problem is, he is a convicted felon and cannot posses a weapon. That sounds fair, but get this; his crime was bouncing a check! Can you imagine having to give up your guns and hunting because your math skills are a little, shall we say, under developed? http://espn.go.com/outdoors/hunting/news/2...11/2221101.html

Red Rabbit Report post Posted November 18, 2005 I'd like to hear the Paul Harvey rest of the story. Can't fathom that only a bounced check resulted in a felony. RR

Redman Report post Posted November 18, 2005 The story also mentions that he hasn't fulfilled all his restitution, so there GOT to be more to this story. Redman
Idahocoueshunter Report post Posted November 23, 2005 I don't think just bouncing a check would be a felony. If that were the case, 95% of America would be wearing stripes. He probably wrote a check on a closed account or a business account for private purposes. Each state has its own laws reguarding fradulent check writing. Craig.
