Shooter McGavin Report post Posted January 19, 2011 I have had many opportunities to whack those wiley yotes, but have never pulled the trigger. I know I am sure to get some flack on that initial comment, but my question is: I know that they are a nuisance too all, but what can I do once they are pushing daisies. Can you sell the pelts to someone? I wouldn't mind having a couple of skulls for my kids show & tell, but what good are they once they are dead. I know the obvious reason on that question, but is there someone to contact who wants the pelts or to make yote stew? Any help would do and it would give me more time in the field kickin sticks looking for cool stuff and to keep the cobwebs from forming in my barrel. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. youngbuck Report post Posted January 19, 2011 They are good dead because they aren't killin off all the other critters. Ive seen guys keep tails though. Winter yote pelts look cool if you have em tanned too.
matthewp45 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 Tomgobbler on the forum is a coyote killing machine. He kills a ton of coyotes a year and skins everyone and sells it on the fur market for any where from $10-$50 a piece. It is a lot of work skinning them. He is the fastest I have seen and it takes about 30 minutes per coyote.
