elkman Report post Posted January 18, 2011 My boy is almost 10 finally and we are ready for the hunters safety course. does anyone on here know how to set him up with a class and field day. game and fish says you can take it online but there is a long list for the field day and that will make him miss the draw for this year. He doesnt like that a bit. Besides i want him to take the class from an instructor i think they learn it better when being taught, although if there is anyone here that is an instructor and can give us a field day that would be great and he will just have to do the test online if needed. Thanks in advance
antlers Report post Posted January 18, 2011 He doesnt have to complete the course before the draw just before the hunt. I am doing a class in Payson around the 20th of February. We are in the process of setting it up now. He can do the online course and then do the field day but I dont believe people benefit from the course online. Feel free to call me for further info. Thanks!
azslim Report post Posted January 18, 2011 good call on the face to face class versus online, depending on the instructors you will learn a whole bunch more in the face to face.
azpredator@work Report post Posted January 18, 2011 Don't do the online class. The best way if you don't want to spend the ridiculous amount of classroom time is to take a 1 day class with the following day in the field.
