huntingfool Report post Posted February 5, 2011 There is no 40 pound bobcat in the state of Arizona unless it was eating big rocks. There are misconceptions on bobcat size just like we read about all other big game. People exaggerate. You'd be surprise how little a bobcat weighs even when it looks and feels like a big toad. The average AZ bobcat is between 16-20 pounds. I realize camera angles and such can play a role but this looks like it could be pushing 40 pounds to me. You may have seen this pic already Hyperwrx, and may know more about it. This was posted online from a well known predator hunter and i believe it to be authentic. Looks big to me.
