billrquimby Report post Posted December 31, 2010 What's happening to take you to Nova Scotia, Lark? The closest I got to there was the Bay of Fundy, where I stood on the beach in New Brunswick and could see Nova Scotia on a clear day. It was in October, when the maple leaves were a gorgeous red and the weather was pleasant. I can't imagine going there now. My New Brunswick friends have lived in Havelock all their lives, but they escape to Florida, Africa or South America this time of year. Don't know about the winter, but we had the best lobster i've ever tasted anywhere up there. Three of us bought nine big live lobsters fresh off a boat and took them home, tossed them in seasoned boiling water, and ate them all at one sitting!
