DesertBull Report post Posted December 29, 2010 Can someone recommend a decent caller in the + or - $100 range.
Santana Outdoors Report post Posted December 29, 2010 That $ amount is going to be low for a good one. $200 will get you a great caller but you might want to look at the Phantom Mini Remote they are about $135 and is wireless. I haven't used anything cheaper with any luck. This call was messed up in there first run but I have'nt had any problems with this second bunch. Good luck. mtngoat Report post Posted December 29, 2010 Take a look at the Flextone echo hd. I picked one up from wildlife callers for around $130 shipped. It comes with 100 sounds preprogramed and sounds good so far. I still have to try it out in the field still, so i'll let you know how that goes. http://www.wildlifecallers.com/store/elect...100-sounds.html

deaddog250 Report post Posted December 29, 2010 the spitfire is a great little caller it has 24 sounds and you can add/change them on your PC with almost any sound type .mp3 , .wav , or fox pros sounds the remote is good for about 100 feet or a little more with line of sight. it is not the loudest caller i have ever herd volume 1 is almost useless but you can add extra speakers if you think you need to. I would recomend a remote caller

Blade53 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I like the fox pro spitfire idea, light weight and compact, but check out the Johnny Stewart line also, I got a buddy has one of them and they aint to bad for the money.
hunt4horns Report post Posted December 30, 2010 I have the Spitfire and love it. I get excellent range out of it. I was on a hill and my son walked a wash and was able to control it out passed 300 yards.

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 If you keep savin pennies and keep an eye out on predatormasters, the Scorpion (the call I use) goes for pretty reasonable prices often.
