Mr. Jonathan Report post Posted January 5, 2011 My buddy and I were out calling for coyotess when we came across this guy's tracks where he had drug a mule deer across a road and into the trees. We cleaned up the road in a hurry to cover up the tracks because we didn't have dogs with us and we knew that if anyone found the track before we had dogs they'd run it, and as frustrating as that would've been for us it would have been their right to do so. Luckily, we got dogs lined up before any one else found the tracks. Great tom, 140 lbs after leaking a little blood on the mountain and the skull went right around 14 7/16ths I think. Not a bad cat! But, had someone with dogs shown up before we were able to get the hounds it would've been their cat and not ours. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
