Blade53 Report post Posted December 26, 2010 My son had a fun experience the other night I thought I would share with you all. Night before last about 2 in the morning my son and his wife were awakened by what sounded to them to be someone tapping on the outside wall of their house, they both got up and went to investigate, my son one way and his wife the other, pretty soon my daughter in law came running in to get my son telling him he needed to come check this out, outside their house was 3 bull elk, the 1 bull was eating the grass next to the house and when he would move his head his antlers would clang against the house making the noise they heard, about that time the smaller bull of the 3 ducked his head at one of the larger bulls and off they went into a wrestling match, the bigger bull pushed the smaller bull into the side of the house, making a large bang and shook the house a little, they wrestled around for a bit, tore up the garden area real good, then quit. This all happened just outside the window at what he said at times was about 2 to 3 feet away, my daughter in law tried to sneak out and get some video of them, but they heard her in the gravel and ran off, not every day you can see something like that........Dan

Guest Lobo Report post Posted December 26, 2010 That's cool! Encroachment has it's benefits. Wait until the wolves show up or something eats the family pet.
