Off subject- Pigs

Any of you hunters out there running around in 23 find pigs, let me know. I have a January tag and saw no pigs during my turkey hunt last spring. I suppose I need to hunt lower.

If I get to do any archery hunting in 23 I will let you know if I see any pigs. Believe it or not I have seen some huge Javalinas around Pleasant Valley.

Try anywhere along Cherry Creek RD and you should find pigs.

Always pigs in the Parker Creek area north of the A+ road.

I used to hunt them right above the A+ road all the time but haven't since they made the JUG a wilderness. I guess I mostly hunted them on either side of Dutch woman butte-

 

I'm wanting to find them somewhere else this year. I will probably spend some time off Cherry creek road and check that out. I did see some bruiser bucks near Sombrero peak and I may check that out for pigs and hope for a rare treat of a hot buck coming in too.

Saw pigs 2 weeks ago in 23. On the east side of tonto creek just north east of kohls ranch. It is pine/scrub oak country but I have seen many pigs in that area and there are some good glassing areas.

Same for 33 deer hunters, appreciate any reports of havie herds...wife and 10 year old sons first hunt in feb. (.243 coming for christmas) appreciated..

I'll be in 24A for pig in Feb, if anyone would like to share info...I was in Globe a few weeks ago and a few old buddies said to come to there house at night and get one...I told them residential hunting doesn't count.. . that's a nice coffee shop next to the Globe Theater.
