Bass Pro has an adapter that is identical to the one that Nikon makes for I believe around $10. I can't find it online but I've seen it in their store. Maybe you could call the store and see if you could somehow pay for it and have them send it to you. Or just order from Amanda.

The one that Bass Pro has made for them is made out of plastic, not aluminum like the one with the Nikon name. Remember, you get what you pay for in the end. David

I only looked at it in the package so I was not aware of that. I definitely would not go with plastic.

+1 for the Jim White adapter. Light, simple, you can keep it attached while your binos are around your neck and easily go to tripod glassing. A quality product and the price is reasonable.

+1 for the Outdoorsmans. It is simply the best, most solid mounting system available.

Give them a call and they'll put it in the mail for you - you'll get it the next day. I live in Chino and anything they send gets to me the next day.

I have the Nikon aluminum one and really like it. Worth the money in my opinion. You have alot of options via the internet.

I'm in the same boat as DBArcher...I need a new adaptor for my 10x42 Monarchs.

A few years back I bought the nikon version at Sportsmans in Tucson, but somehow lost the threaded portion during last years hunt. Now Sportsmans can't seem to get the adaptors back in stock and I'm tired of waiting, plus there seems to be overwhelming support for the Jim Whites.

Can someone familiar with the Jim White Adaptors please confirm that I should order this one from CWT.com:

"Front Mount binocular adapter" - fits all binoculars with a 1/4 inch by 20 tapped hole at the center of the frame. (Pentax, Swift, Nikon, etc.)

(From Amanda's Link: http://www.coueswhitetail.com/bookstore/adaptors.htm)

...this seems to be the only model that mentions Nikon, but i wanted to make sure before ordering.

Thanks in advance!
