firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted December 21, 2010 Here are my boys. The dog on the right, Ojos I got while in college. Doberman/Austrailain/Heinz 57. Charlie, my yellow lab I got from Aztrapper here on the sight and is a tennis ball FREAK! Both dogs love the outdoors but Ojos is absolutely terrified of gunfire. Took him and my parents chocolate lab out quail hunting one day. Got onto a covey and he ran off and would not come back no matter what. I had to track him down and found him laying under a bush with his tail between his legs. This is our old Dusty girl. She found us one day, decided she liked out front yard and wouldnt leave. She was a b!@# when we first got her but it was neat to see her grow into a dog that liked our company and affection. She died a week before I graduated the academy. This is my parents chocolate lab, Snickers. She is the most relaxed lab I have ever seen. She doesnt get excited about anything, unless you tell her to load up in the truck for a ride. Her and I scouting a couple years ago: She is good luck too, this buck went 103"
COUESAZ Report post Posted December 21, 2010 The RedBone by the pool freaks out when the kids swim. He is like a mother. If they go under he freaks bad until they come up. And you can see him count them to make sure no one is under water.

If I ever figure out how to post pictures I will do so as well as I had a couple heelers (best dogs ever!!) that were my all time favorites even though I did adopt a white lab named Frodo Baggins who is pretty special as well. Keep the pictures and names coming guys as I am adopting another puppy here this week and need a name! Austalian Sheppard/Heeler mix and looks all white with some black spots ehre and there in case anyone has a name to throw out there! Merry Christmas to all of you and don't forget to give gifts to these four legged children too...new blanket, nyla-bones, steak, sweaters, backpack, leather booties, collars, toys, a hunt etc...
