Red Rabbit Report post Posted December 18, 2010 For you night owls, there is a total eclipse of the moon this early Tuesday morning Dec 21. Here is a link with info and times. Note that times are Eastern ST, so one needs to subtract 2 hours for Mountain ST. Mid-eclipse should be about 1:17AM here. If you miss it, guess you gotta wait till 2014. http://www.mreclipse.com/MrEclipse.html

308Nut Report post Posted December 21, 2010 This is awesome cool! Never been able to see one till now. Its kind of ominous, my neighbor 3 doors down just got hauled off by the medical examiner. YIKES! What is it with abnormal moon patterns for the 2009 and 2010 December coues whitetail hunts? Last year the blue moon, this year a lunar eclipse. I hope all enjoy. Red Rabbit Report post Posted December 21, 2010 I woke up at 1:30 AM and somehow there was a break in the clouds. Still enough high clouds to make for a foggy look without detail. Eclipse was about mid and the color was an orangish brown. Looked through the binos and went back to bed.
