ehunt Report post Posted December 8, 2010 I wanted to share some pics of Darrel Crance's monster desert ram! I had the opportunity this year to guide for Southwest Hunting Adventures and Darrel on his once in a lifetime desert sheep hunt. We located this ram 2 days before the hunt after months of scouting, and Darrel made a great 260 yard shot on him at 1030 on opening morning! Darrel's ram gross scored by game and fish at 184 5/8" and crushes the old unit record by over 30 inches!! A huge congrats to Darrel on a beautiful ram, it could not have happened to a nicer guy!! Here is a pic of the ram the first afternoon he was located...you might have to zoom. Troy Scott and Darrel...Troy is still in shock! Also congrats to the entire SWHA team on two huge opening day rams with a combined score of 361 inches!! A big thanks to Troy, Keith, Wade, Mike and Mike, and Rick for their help!!!! What a ram. ...my dream hunt on the North American continent right there over any and all others. If I can just get one of those tags to arrive in the mail!
