What size choke?

Recommended Posts

I'm taking my 10 year old to the Cibola Junior Waterfowl camp in a few weeks. I am clueless how to hunt duck and geese, so the camp is really for me, I'm just using my kid to get in! ;) He will using a 20 ga. with 3" 2 shot. Any suggestions on what size choke I (I mean he) should use?

Thanks!!

Mark

If you are using steel shot, I would put in an improved cylinder. Steel doesn't have any "give" to it when it is passing through the choke like lead, so you want a more open choke. Good luck to you (him) on the hunt!

Cool! Look us up. We'll be in a dark Green F-350 with a pop-up camper.
