BearMtn Report post Posted November 30, 2010 I took my sons on a Coues hunt for the first time with leftover tags north of Patagonia. Thanks to Aaron Kelly for his refresher on places to hunt since I have not hunted there for over 10 years. The boys did not want to miss any school (DNA testing might be in order) so we only hunted Sat, Sunday and Thursday (Veterans Day). Justin (my 15 year old) made a 350 yard shot (1) off the claw on a nice 4 x 4 and packed it out himself. Stephen (he is 11) also used the claw (now known as the triCLAWps) to shoot his at 438 yards with the first shot. I did the packing out for him, the lord knows I need the excercise. Great job boys, I love you. There is not much in life that is better than hunting with your sons.
