pwrguy Report post Posted November 28, 2010 I got the opportunity to help a couple of friends with their elk hunt. Here are a couple of pictures of the lucky guy. We glassed this thing at 450 yards at day break opening day, right from where we were sitting. We got a bullet in him but it wasn't a clean kill, we had to move the shooter several hundred yards down the ridge and wait him out most of the day. Finally got him killed in the afternoon. Saturday we arranged for some help packing and went in and packed him out. He was in some rugged country and I was sure glad to not be doing it alone. I don't have any good pictures, but here are a couple I took from my phone.
