dieselroe Report post Posted November 23, 2010 After a few missed opps over the past three years. I finally got a mule deer bigger then all the spikes I've seen. I've seen lots of small mule deer and missed a couple big ones. I'm happy with this guy, on day 6 especially. I know the picture sucks but I hunted by myself and didn't bring a camera. This is the head ready for caping in the back seat of my Ford when I got home. At least now I can move on to a big guy. Shot was 480 yards with my 270 WSM. Spotted him with my new Vortex 15x56 Kaibabs. I think its my new equipment added to three years experience that did the trick. Nah...it was God. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
