GodIsGood Report post Posted November 16, 2010 Abel Talbo of Full Draw Archery will be conducting a 3-d event in Crown King in March. Crown King is only 40 nautical miles from Deer Valley Airport, about a ninety minute drive north of Phoenix... yes, the last 26 miles are county-maintained roads that can be dusty, bumpy and a fairly steep grade towards the end... but it is well worth climb! At 6000' the shoot will be held in beautiful pines with courses set up for kids and some handicap accessibility. the town itself has lodging and cabins for rent, there is plenty of good tent/pop-up camping - but it is not an RV friendly place. The restuarants, saloons and stores there will have lots of activities to make the trip fun and comfortable, there will be at least one live band on Friday and Saturday nite.
