elkhunter Report post Posted November 11, 2010 **Rifle is sold** **Dies are sold** 300 brass is still for sale, about half are once fired, half is twice fired and out of all of them about 100 of them are cleaned and trimmed. $50 including shipping. Howdy, this is the first time I have tried to sell a gun. I have a remington Model 7 .243 stainless for sale. This is a great gun for a youth or female hunter, very light weight and shoots straight! I bought this gun from a game warden in 2007 and his kids used this gun to take a cow elk, 3 mule deer, 2 coues and several coyotes. My sister used this gun to take 2 coues deer. This rifle shoots very well out to 350 yards and weighs 7.8lbs with scope, sling and fully loaded. It also has a custom trigger job with no creep or pull, I am not sure what the name is. - Remington Model 7 243 stainless with synthetic stock, 22inch barrel, 7.8lbs with scope, sling and loaded. - Leupold Rifleman scope 3-9x-40mm, single stainless base with stainless rings, the scope has scratches on the outside and this happened when it was on my 300winmag, I fell down alot hiking in thick coues country, there are some cleaning scratches on the lenses too. - Custom trigger (no creep or pull) - RCBS 243 reloading does - 243 brass - $700 for everything above I am asking $700 for the whole deal. I found this rifle from several websites ranging from $600-$700 without the scope and in this deal I am tossing the rifle, scope, sling, reloading dies and brass for $700. elkhunter Report post Posted November 17, 2010 The scope has been sold but the rifle itself has not been sold. The following are included in the package for $600, shipping will be negotiated later. My sister lives in phoenix and hand the gun over. -Remington Model 7 .243 - Reloading dies - 150 Brass, half once fired, half twice fired - Leupold one piece base and rings - Sling - Custom trigger - No creep or pull! This gun is an absolute killer, sometimes you don't have to aim at all, the animal just falls over dead!
hunter72 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 How much for just the rifle i have dies and everything else already. Thanks Lex
HEADACHE Report post Posted November 21, 2010 I would imagine you could sell those dies and brass on thehighroad.com or snipershide.com or even ar15.com in about two days. Just in case you wanted to split the rifle, or the buyer wants to unload the reloading stuff. 243 is an awesome round for reloading, so lots of ppl have them. elkhunter Report post Posted November 21, 2010 The rifle alone will be $550 depending on shipping, if I do not have to pay a shipping fee then the price will be $500.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted November 21, 2010 Tyler, last time I shipped a rifle I went to FedEx and I think it was about $25. I would highly reccomend FedEx over UPS. Cheaper, and the last two times I received a rifle through UPS, it was broken and I had to file insurance claims which is a HUGE PITA!!!
elkhunter Report post Posted November 21, 2010 Casey- thanks for the info, I remember your UPS experience
