nboni.2007 Report post Posted November 7, 2010 My brother shot this nice buck from about 180 yards, it is yet to be scored. We left out early that morning around 4 o'clock. At around 6:30 am we decided to walk this mountain that had an incredible amount of deer activity. About 3/4 up the mountain my bro spotted 2 young bucks walking over the ridge to the other side, so we decided to follow in hopes that a bigger buck would be around, once we got to where we saw those other to bucks, we glassed the area and saw 2 does walking on the other side of the ridge, we began to follow them and heard some rocks falling below us, then we heard this buck let out his air, and run up after them does, we whistled to stop the buck and sure enough it stopped, then my bro got his gun out and took the shot.
