I was in the black Dodge Dakota. Can't believe the guys in the trailer on top of the hill by your camp. They were the ones where all the shooting was going on when we were talking. As we drove by on the way out we saw that they were shooting clay pigeons. Maybe you saw them too when you drove by. Think there was a little lack of common courtesy on their part for doing that where other folks were trying to deer hunt. If they were deer hunters I guess it just showed plain ignorance. Well, I hope you had some luck, in spite of them and also the illegal aliens the border patrol was harvesting by your camp. Bill

You were spotting on your hood when I pulled out. I did see them shooting clay pigeons. I thought at first they might be readjusting their rifle which is okay for a ocuple shots. but they shot two entire boxes of clay pigeons off during a hunt less then 1/2 mile form prime hunting in the drywell area. A lot of nice bucks got pulled from that area. I saw an ok 3x3 and a bunch of spikes. I also saw a nice 4x4 get pulled from ajax mine area. I actually left Saturday night and drove over to the Arivaca lake area and found some nice deer sign and climbed ot the top of a ridge only to find a buck running on the next canyon. He was 300 yards out and i shot 3 shots only to have him duck in the bushes. I saw from the chin up pop up and tookj the shot and dropped him right where he stood. He measured in at 90 points and the head has already been dropped off in Tucson to be mounted. the meat was dropped off at the butcher this evening as well. Im now at home in Vegas. All in all it was a good hunt. GOod luck next week as I recall you were hunting next hunt. I posted a pic in another topic.

Rugid terrain, miles of hiking up steep hills, sliding down rocky faces, oh yea... and when you get one their is the drag out to the car or nearest road.......
