GSPMan Report post Posted November 4, 2010 My two boys had unit 23 October whitetail tags. Since my oldest plays HS football and my youngest brother decided to get married we only had 1 day to hunt. He also was very sick with a fever after the game which made hunting difficult as he was shivering most of the day. We found his buck bedded up on a high ridge and shot him at 250 yards with his 270. My youngest son had several days to hunt and he glassed his buck himself and made a nice shoulder shot at 260 yards with the 270. Great hunts, great weather and good food. My youngest son wants a pair of swarovski binos for christmas! Can you believe that. He recognized right away the difference between the swaros and the vortex.
