hey all,

a close family friend of mine has been on the better half of a drawn out battle with cancer.Well now

his wifes' unemployment is exhausted... and she is forced to go back to work.. (ie. leaving his bed-side).. im pretty sure this is the tail-end of the whole ordeal.. she is his rock... and he has survived one year longer then expected.(pretty sure due to his mrs).. Im not asking for prayers or money... but pray... by all means..

The pupose of this post is a reminder to be thankful to be out climbing them mountains... .. many are not at liberty to enjoy this passion we all share. and some days for most, getting out of bed is a task.. soo the next time your on that mountain top... and you see that ridge off in the distance... GO!

and when your tired, but curious of what could be on the other side of that mountain.... Go!!.. enjoy your blessings...

good day..

I actually do think about this kind of stuff when I am on a mtn top! I am so very thankful I am physically able to do all the climbing that I do. It wasn't but a couple months ago I was in the hospital and couldn't hardly even sit up on my own, so being able to climb big mtns on my recent was a real privilege! Good Reminder!

I was just saying that to my kids about being grateful just to be out enjoying all of Gods creations creations. They sure enjoyed are last hunt even her brother said he was glad his sister harvested a deer even though he didn't. He said it's all about the hunt dad not the kill. Man i'm lucky. My prayers go out to your friends family and i hope he is as comfortable as he can be and she is able to find work close to home if not from home.

It's good for those who are young and without physical limitation to realize that their condition is temporary. Good for us older folks to remember that it could always be worse. Hunt hard and enjoy the view. Thanks for the reminder.
