Jcubed Report post Posted October 26, 2010 Hey all, As always love the site and all the great information. Not much experience with Coues hunting down south but was still thinking about picking up a 36A tag and spending two days hunting, probably on a Monday-Tuesday or a Tuesday-Wednesday (class and work obligations preclude me from taking more time off). I'll be going at this alone and I was just wondering if it would be feasible to get out and be safe doing it in this unit by myself? I won't have any family or friends available to hunt so I'll be going at it myself. Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone.
Ace High Benny Report post Posted October 29, 2010 So that you know, pard, not 36A but I'll be hunting 36B. Unless I have last minute company I'll be hunting alone late Nov. and I even picked a lone campsite just in case I have no company. The point is I am not affraid of anything even in 36B which is closer to the border. Relax and enjoy your hunt and remember the "castle law" when you are in your R/V or tent! One more thing, I thing 36B is nicer than 36A:) Ace
Dodge66 Report post Posted October 31, 2010 I have Hunted both units.. Never had a Problem with any "Buddy" Down there... I would not worry about it the biggest thing is when they jump the Buck you are after but I camp in the Lower Desert Floor then Just ride the Quad or Hike in..
