azhuntnut Report post Posted October 18, 2010 I finally got around to making some metal targets, so I headed out this weekend to stretch the Nikon m-223 rifle scope. With my AR mounted up on my LOC JAW tripod attachment, it actually made shooting quite easy. I think if I had a 20 inch barrel I could get to the 500 and 600 with ease. The velocity starts to drop off after 400 pretty quick. When I was finished shooting, my 12 year old boy jumped behind the gun and shot 1,2, and 300 yards like he had been doing it for years. Having the gun mounted on a tripod has made my accuracy as well as his go up quite a bit. My next video will be shooting with a Remington .308 rifle with my new RIFLE RAILZ system.
