josh Report post Posted October 18, 2010 Had a great time at the APC novice hunt taking out Kirk a real nice kid that is really excited about predator hunting. We saw a bunch of fox and shot a few but had a few get away wounded. It was so tight calling in the manzanita that if they didnt die where you first shot them they would get away. We found a hiking trail and made our sets right on the trail and the fox would come running down the trail or pop out right in front of us. We walked four stands in a row on this trail and called in seven fox it was a real rodeo. Here's Kirk with his fox that came in at about 20 seconds it was a blast. Scott we need to get back out there. Before our novices go back there and really shoot the place up Heres a pic to give you guys an idea of the area we were hunting. Notice the dead fox in the trail. He popped out just about were he lies dead.I took the pic from were I was standing when I shot.
