buddyb Report post Posted October 17, 2010 i shot this deer second to last mornin with a 7mag at a little under 420 yards, me an my cousin an my dad have hunted this hunt hard huntin all day an everyday of the hunt, finally it paid off with this nice buck. he grossed 117 3/8. buddyb Report post Posted October 17, 2010 we didnt no that this exact buck was there, the other buck we were chasin was pushin about 100 an we have ben chasin it since the first day. An on Tuesday we went out to the other side of the canyon he always comes out of we found the buck we were after an i had it in my scope then my cousin said hold off there is another buck coming out of the bottom. so we waited about fifteen minutes until it presented its self better to me an he said shoot the buck closer to the top he is bigger, i missed my first shot an piled him my second shot.
