azpredator@work Report post Posted October 15, 2010 I got my second bull last Sunday in New Mexico. It was on the second day. I shot him 15 minutes before nighttime. My dad called him to me and I shot him at 22 yards. I was really cold after I shot him and was shaking. It took us all night long to take the meat and head to the truck. We had to cross over real big mountains to get to the truck. We used night sticks that glow to have a trail to the truck. It died after only one shot. My first elk died after 7 shots. My dad had better bullets made this time for elk. I wanted to shoot a bigger one than my first but we didnt find a bigger one. I like this bull so I told my dad I wanted to shoot it. He said I could if I was happy with him. My dad didn't bring the video camera he bought for this hunt because he didnt think we could kill this bull. He was wrong. Now he's mad about that.
