peckl1 Report post Posted October 18, 2005 I've got a mulie tag for Nov in 36a. I'll be in there from Nov 1st on. I think I'll be camped in the flats close to the Black hills. I drive a silver Chevy Z-71. Stop by if you see me. I will have a few cold beers on hand. Lee
coueselk Report post Posted October 18, 2005 I'll be taking my daughter there for the last weekend. My New Mexico hunt starts on the 12th, so my daughter misses out on opening weekend. I'll be driving a brown Tacoma 4-dr, with a big-shot muley sticker on the back window.
gnoto Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Peck I may stop by during the mule hunt to say hi. I have been watching two Mulies grow to monsters over the last couple years. In fact I bumped into them two weeks ago. I hope you get one of them. Save the other one for me during my Bow hunt.
gnoto Report post Posted October 18, 2005 White Mtn Seems like we will be in the same areas I want to spend a day or two in my Cerrita spots but I have been scouting the Southern Serritas heavily of late and there is very little traffic but its a hike. Not sure yet where I will camp yet
WHT_MTNMAN Report post Posted October 18, 2005 George, I'm excited that the mine road is shut down, it should eliminate alot of traffic in through McGee Ranch it is a hike. Maybe we will meet up.
gnoto Report post Posted October 18, 2005 I generally come in from the south side via Arivaca and up through the Champurro tank
Arizona Griz Report post Posted October 20, 2005 I will be somewhere between the Colorados, Black Hills or the southern end of the Sierretas. Last year I camped on the south side of the Black Hills but I am leaning on the Colorados this year. I have an archery elk tag at the same time so I probably won't be down there until the second week.
peckl1 Report post Posted October 20, 2005 gnoto, look forward to meeting you. I think I'll be some where close to the Black Hills. I will be setting up camp on the 1st or 2nd. Then I'll come back in and post where I'm at. Anyone is welcome to stop by. Well, someone associated with USO might have a few things to answer for.... but anyone else is welcome.
