ScottAdams Report post Posted October 17, 2005 First off I'll answer the questions. The shirt in question is not tie-dyed. He pretty much bathed in the blood, and the buck was fully intact testicly. Now Steven wasn't the only one in the family with a tag. His younger sister Stephanie also had a tag and the next day she busted her first buck!! Now she really started out right and took a Coues buck! Way to go Stephanie!!! You're one of us now!!! The first chance I get I'm going to put a tape on Steven's and I'll let you know what I come up with. Scott

bullwidgeon Report post Posted October 18, 2005 At least the sister does anyway . Thats an awesome deer even though it is the wrong flavor . One day 27 with continued restrictive management will be like a little Kaibab, only closer to home. Ahh who am I kidding, next year I am sure G&F will go back to the two 1000-1500 tag hunt structure though and jack it all up again for a few years Bret M. ScottAdams Report post Posted October 18, 2005 I scored Steven's buck and came up with 175 gross. A very nice buck to be sure.

Rembrant Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Hey there's something funny about this buck. Is it a whitetail or a muley?...or a cross? Big ears, big rack, just like a muley, but wait a minute, how come he don't got the black cap/white face of a mature muley buck. That's quite a distinct grey face/nose ring - just like a Coues. and he just about has eye rings like a Coues too - because his face is so grey. Great buck!! Better get this one mounted. How 'bout it scott, what is it???! Mike
Rembrant Report post Posted October 18, 2005 Just wrote that reply before going to the second page. It's got a muley body and tail. It's a muley. Sure has a grey face. mike
crazyaboutcoues Report post Posted October 19, 2005 Scott...tell Steve senior that his kids out did him right out of the shoot hehe awesome muley and a very respectable ghost. Congradulations Steve jr and Stephanie. How did Fred do on his elk hunt?
trophyhntr Report post Posted October 20, 2005 Those are some great deer. Hopefully they are hooked for life on hunting. Scott, is that caliber of buck uncommon for the area? I looks like a Bab. type muley and even those don't grown on trees.
