Hunter X Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Replied to PM. Sorry I should have put in a price range. Looking to spend no more then $400 including scope. It's going to be a Christmas present for my 12 yr old nephew from his grandpa. It needs to be in good condition and not fired more then 200 rounds. His grandpa said he can buy a new right handed .270 for $415 and he'd rather do that and have the kid learn how to use a right handed rifle if he can't find one for under $400. I don't know too much about gun prices so if the asking price is unreasonable please let me know. Thanks

Thanks Being a lefty who could only afford right handed rifles, you might want to check the kids dominant eye before they go changing him. You end up shooting a rifle right handed and a shotgun left. Creates some confusion in jump shooting situations. I live with that. EBB

outdooraz Report post Posted October 5, 2010 Southpaw myself, it's going to be hard to find a good LH rifle for $400 including a scope. Now that I made the change to LH firearms I couldn't imagine going back.
