oz31p Report post Posted October 4, 2010 Thanks. The bobcat pictures are a little weird. The camera was set to take 3 picture then time out for a minuite. In the first is the one I posted, he laying down. In the next he's walking but his body is blurry and his head is semi focus. then on the third he gone. I don't know how he got into frame and layed down without geting. Pictures of him coming in. The trigger speed is fast enought to get just the head of deer as they walk in to frame even on the bucks whitch they seem to come in fast drink and leave . And squirrles and quail individualy will trigger the camera. It does look a little small the camera was postioned around 15 feet a way. I have other pictures of the daylight 3x3. They are both calling my name. I also have other pictures of that bear. Form last time. But I also have a blond mom with one black cub and one blond cub coming last time the cameras werew left out but she never came back. I reposintioned the camera so her cubs would not turn it again switched the sd cards out last time I checked it.

oz31p Report post Posted October 5, 2010 nope the last week or so the area was beat to death by cows. i could not find any bear or cat tracks. just deer. the sd card was full with 1580 pictures in the first 20 day. unfortunately it was out there for 30 days. i posted some pictures a month ago with the blond mom and her cubs. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...showtopic=20709

kidso Report post Posted October 5, 2010 Yup. I recognize the blonde bears frolicking now that I see them. You have a nice place. I wonder how often the bears and lions take out the cattle. Reminds me of an area in 24A where three cattle were taken down in 10 days by bear. Wish I could get out there. Are you hunting your area for bear at all? oz31p Report post Posted October 5, 2010 I would like to hunt the bears in the area but you know how people say to find the nastest roughest caynons you can find when looking for white tail. Well this is that place its about 2 mile by foot off the nearest road. I'm just not sure I'm man enough to haul a bear Out of there.

I found 3 dead cows on a water hole in 24a.
