Camping situation

Hey thats cool. My party will consist of about 6 people and we will be hitting a couple of the canyons just out of the town of Arivaca. We took 5 nice bucks last year. Our camp sign will be " Ramirez ". I did work as a D.E.O at the Florence dettention center. I know a couple of of the B.P agents in that sector also. See ya out there.

I'll be in 36b in Dec. Don't yet know how I'll handle the camping situation or exactly where I'm going to look to hunt. I've still got some scouting to do.

I saw some real bruisers on Batamote while I was scouting a few weeks back.

Where did you camp and did you get one of them? i will be in Thursday the 10th

Probably going to abandon the Batamote spot and go deep. Cerro's behind BAtamote or Lower Serritas Lobo Peak. Gonna decide based on traffic.

We went in there one afternoon on the East end and climbed up pretty high on the hill. We didn't see any nice bucks though. We heard alot of shooting from the West end of Batamote that afternoon so maybe that's where all the good bucks were at or maybe dudes were shooting at carp or something in that big bowl by Rincon tank. We went to a backup spot the next day and came up with a bunch of deer so we never went back to Batamote. Good luck

I am heading out later today. Had some business that delayed me. I think I am goingto try to work my way north toward Lobo Peak. I used to be able to get way up there in my truck.. We will see. I think its time for me to get away fro the Cerro's for a while. Its real crowded.
