any canyon between dugas and bloody basin will hold whitetails. find a range between theses roads and get a good vantage point, glass, glass and glass some more. you will find them.

Get in a canoe at childs and float, stop and glass, walk a little and go from there.

Well i just had to sale my small boat for hunting trip money i will be looking along the banks as well just not from the water i plane on doing a lot of walking and glassing close to the river

Park right in the middle of Camp Verde at 3:30am the morning of your hunt. Then follow all of the trucks with CouesWhitetail.com stickers on them. They will lead you to the best spots.

 

 

Coues deer scouting is about the same in any unit , if you have been hunting in 6a for the last 2 years then look for the same country and do the same in 21. But like some have said glass, glass, glass then when you are done glassing, glass some more.

I love glassing! Last year on the october hunt I had the "racoon eyes" sunburn from my binos Anyhow, glassing is how you find the deer, 21 is a fine unit for coues. Good luck on your hunt.
