CouesWhitetail Report post Posted September 28, 2010 I shot this turkey in NM a couple springs ago and did the taxidermy work myself on it. Unfortunately, I didn't flatten out the wings when it was drying so the wings have a curve to them that makes it impossible to hang them flush on a wall. The tips of the wings would hit the wall about a foot or more before the plaque does. So I had to think of another way to hang it. I thought about making a stand and just putting it on a bookcase in a corner of the room, but never got the stand made. so here is what a friend and I came up with. It hangs from the ceiling in a recessed area by my fireplace. I think it looks cool! What do you think?

Chef Report post Posted September 28, 2010 That DOES look cool. Kind of like it's strutting on the wall. With it's wing tips touching the wall.
