I'm looking for a sight and i have narrow to three choices, the Black Gold ascent, spott-hogg hogg it hunter or the sure lock lethal weapon 1 , what do you guys thing, i like the long sight that come out from the riser quite a bit.

I personally like my spott hogg sights they have never let me down. I also liked the fact that spott hogg made a custom wrap/pins for me which was .019 pins for the first four pins and .010 pins on my last 3 pins which makes it easier to shoot the further yardages because there's less fiber covering the target..

Have you looked at the Axcel Armortech? Just another idea, but a great sight!

Montana Black Gold makes some quality stuff. Can't comment on the model you mentioned but I would look at the Flashpoint line.

dont waste the money on an axcel a spott hogg is the way to go

I just finished doing my research on the Black Gold. I like the Ascent on a flashpoint 3 pin model. I have a couple of friends that have it and am impressed with it and the company who makes it. I will have to get some tapes printed, but watching my friends hit 85+ yard targets with the groups they did sold me on the wheel. I've been shooting a PSE F-35 and it has 7 pins, pretty busy. I will like having a 20, 30, and a 40 yard pin for quick shots and being able to dial in for longer shots without having to count pins and split the difference on in between distances.

 

Spott Hogg was my second choice.
